Photo Challenge Day 1 - Oakley Rodeo

July 1 was the first day of my 30-Day Photo Challenge.  Since I was heading up to the Oakley Rodeo with some family, I thought this would be a great time to figure out a little more about my camera. I know it can do a lot of cool things...which is why I bought it of course...and my sister figured out some things while we were running Ragnar WB, but I had no idea how to use it myself!  So lame, I know.

Okay, so last night I figured out how to put it on the setting that takes multiple pictures in a row, AND I learned how to adjust the shutter speed and light exposure so I could take pictures in the low light.  Here is my favorite from the night!  I still don't know what anything is called, but I'm sure that will come.  By the way, this photo is untouched.  My camera is just that cool! (and I don't know how to use any photo editing programs, haha)

There were also some other great shots from the night.  I'll post those when I do my 4th of July post.  What a weekend I plan to have!
